Jasmina Rezig

*1991, studied musicology at Leipzig University from 2010 to 2011, and Stage Direction at Theatre Academy August Everding in Munich from 2013 to 2016. During her studies, she directed several pieces (“Bombsong” by Thea Dorn, as well as the performance “Woman and Body” (after Oscar Wilde’s Salome and Elfriede Jelineks “Body and Woman”), where she also performed). Since 2015, she has worked in collaboration with other artists and doctors of Munich University’s mental institution on realizing an inclusive theatre project. Jasmina Rezig is also working as a composer and musician and won the award for composition (together with her company Mr. Hyde) at the festival for contemporary music at Leipzig’s Baumwollspinnerei. In 2015, she did a residency at Schlachthaus Theatre Bern and worked as a composer and performer with the collective Das Schaubüro for the production “Heimweh”. In November 2016, she presented a 3D-performance at Wisp Festival.
